Weird Glans

Hello, my glans look really weird and I don't know why. I'm 19 yo, and I never had sex and this really destroying my confidence. It doesn't hurt or anything just looks bad. Do you have any idea what is this or what can I do? I want to have a smooth glans

Hey Man, don't worry to much. I think you are not circumcised. how long has it been like this? It possibly could be candida have you tried any antifungal creams you could get some from the chemist and try this see if that helps any.

2 years and I'm not circumcised ,

And it looked ok before 2-years ago Try the antifungal cream and see if it helps. if it concerns you enough you could go to your GP for a check-up.

I wouldn't worry too much though it doesn't look too bad try the cream first anyway and remember we all have our difference Man.

Hey Mark, you have a fine looking penis to be proud of. I wouldn’t worry about anything mate.

We all have different glans skin textures, some smooth & others lined. It won’t make any difference to your sexual partner.

Just enjoy what you have.

your ridge band broke apart in a similar way to me. I am circumcised, but both of our penis glans look similar. Notice that scratch at the base of your glans, mine has it too. It’s such a strange union line, I always thought until I finally figured it out. Your glans is very dry. I always thought the foreskin would keep it moist. Your corona sulcus is not completely exposed like mine. Do you feel any discomfort when pulling the foreskin back because I always did a forward motion without backward motion when masterbating

Your skin appearance depends on your water intake alot during the day , you need to be properly hydrated . Also , help it abit once per week with an oil like Bio Oil or Palmers cocoa Fragrance Free Lotion . But water intake very important.

Some great suggestions on the way forward for you. If you are worried about your glans texture, let your doc have a look at it. That should put your mind at rest.

Man it’s quite normal put some olive oil on it for few days after u wash ur penis with only water I would suggest u soak it alittle whole bath b4 u apply olive oils right after

Change the soap as some shampoo and body wash gels cause that to few

Change ur briefs to underwear someone glans is pretty squeezed for long time and this also cause the glans to look this way if u have tight one I suggest u change to boxers

And one last thing if ur glans expand quite good when ur penis will flaccid it’s normal to have this skin look as skin is stretched

Consider anti fungal cream only if doctor prescribe

And don’t worry much young man things will be keep wishing under ur foreskin good and I highly suggest u retract it every time u pee to not keep urine there as it rise bacteria and acidic urine effect ur skin glans as well

Keep the glans covered by the foreskin when soft and wash out the inside of the skin with plain water. Avoid soaps and body gel cleansers...these can irritate the mucosal membrane surface of the head of your penis.

If you remain worried go and get it checked out by a doc. You may have an underlying fungal infection problem.

If it bothers you, talk to your GP.I don't think there's anything wrong with your glans since mine looks a lot like yours. In my case, the crack where the corona and glans meet appeared overnight when I was almost 14, no pain, no bleeding. I have had it examined by 3 GPs and a dermatologist and they all said the same thing: "It' s just how your made" "It's a normal variant of the glans" "It's nothing", "You're fine". If it doesn't bleed, sting, itch or ooze disgusting fluids, I would say you have nothing to worry about, but check with your doctor for your own peace of mind.

Also, I would like to know what that crack is called. Surely there must be a name for it, but I have found nothing so far.
