I've got a long foreskin but when I try to retract it it's very tight especially when erect

I think you need to consider circumcision as an option, see you doctor as soon as you can, mine was fairly long, but my Frenulum was quite short, so that caused a lot of problems.

Did you get yours sorted did you end up going the circumcision route

Yes, in the end the only option was circumcision, but I prefer it, so I am happy with the result & sex is far better

Hi, mine looked similar before my circumcision. you have phimosis as well it does look a little bit tight looking can you retract it at all? have you tried stretching and possibly some steroid cream they can help

No it won't retract at all even when it's not erect

Ok you should visit your doctor then it's important to be able to clean underneath your foreskin. they will probably recommend stretching and they may prescribe some steroid cream which would help. but ultimately if this doesn't work you should consider having a circumcision.

Hey mate

See my post.

Message me for a chat.

Same issue, same decision to make

in reply to Jnt131

You do not have the same issues as OP. He is totally unable to retract his foreskin which is not your situation.

Ok, similar then. Was only being friendly.

I would try stretching as much as possible before going the circumcision route. You have a healthy looking foreskin.

I had the same issue so I consulted a urologist and he suggested me to undergo circumcision...and so I did.

Think you should do the same

Start with stretching the foreskin, your Doc may prescribe steroid cream. Take your time, it won't happen overnight.

Meanwhile, standard cleaning should be fine, use mild soap on the foreskin.

Sex and masturbation should not be a problem. If all else fails you may want to consider surgery.

I had phimosis since birth, I’ve only just had a circumcision about 2 weeks ago so it’s still healing. I tried phimocure rings and they did help a little, my case was kind of extreme where I couldn’t even see the glans but eventually I could expose the full glans and clean, but I had recurrent balanitis so that’s why I got circumcised, plus when I was erect, it wouldn’t go back, it would only go back about 1/4 of the glans. When flaccid, I was fine and could pull it right back. Everybody says that circumcision should be last resort, but I wished I had sorted it out sooner and got circumcised earlier, I’m 23 years old now. I like the look of my new circumcised penis, even though it’s still healing, I think I made the right decision and I can’t wait to try out my new tool on my girl when it’s fully healed!! 😛

Do not get circumcised, you will regret it, try stretching it.

In what way will he regret it?

Sometimes circumcision is the only answer if all else fails. The OP clearly thinks he might have a problem, saying don’t do it is not exactly helpful, because to just leave it will make matters worse. Stretching doesn’t always work either.

As for the OPs problem, I would suggest a visit to see your GP would be a good idea, the doctor can go through the options available to you. If you do not wish to get circumcised then explain this to them. Best of luck.

Please see info below about tight foreskin.

This is exactly how mine was, I was never able retract my foreskin when I was etect and suffered for years mate. If you have any questions give me a PM. Definitely get a GPs advice on it but I had the same and they instantly told me phimosis
