How long until my stitches are out?!?

Im 9 days post op. Been healing well so far. No blood or yellow or pus. Pain has gone down significantly. Swelling is still there.

My question is how long did it take for most of you to get your stitches out or dissolve? Im a fast healer. Im asking because these stitches cause so much discomfort.

Use Neosporin ointment best

Yup! Ive been. Definitely helps. I use it once in the am and before I go to bed. Thank you for your advice!

It seems your healing is going very well man. I cut out my remaining stitches after 15 days. Check out my experience on my posts 👍

I’m on my 18th day and I still have my stitches I asked my doctor about it and he said it generally takes between 2-4 weeks for em to dissolve. And they will dissolve by themselves so need need to worry

Damn. I hope they don't stay in that long. They poke the hell outta me. Very uncomfortable.

Whose advice is this, please provide the reference?

Mine went between three and five weeks without any need for intervention although I did trim off a few trailing ends that were getting spikey.

Yea the spikey ones hurt!! I cut some too. Some of my stitches already came off thru contact with my clothes. No bleeding or anything serious from it though.

Cant wait for them to come off. Honestly I would have very little if any pain if they were off.

Today is day 11 post op for me.

Thank you for your response!

Are you medically qualified and in a position to advise this with any relevant authority?

That obviously doesn’t answer the question

Start from the 2nd week you may dissolve your penis in water so that the stitches get soft, you may then pull it out mate. After 10 days it is okay if you remove it.

Are you an Indian? Why you get circumcised ?

Justgotcut1990 in reply to

No I am not Indian. I did it for pure cosmetic reasons. No medical issues whatsoever. I like the finish better.

I'm an Indian, but did get circumcised for the same reason as yours.
