So I still have this bump where my frenulum was removed. I’ve been back to the guy who did the procedure as well as recently sent a picture of the bump expressing my concern. He assured me it will go away. Does this look like scar tissue that will disappear over time or should be removed? I don’t want it there because when my penis is in someone’s mouth I don’t want them to ask what’s that lump... the point of my circumcision was to look like it was done at birth by the time it heals fully in a year.

You still have your inner frenulum. Only your outer frenulum was removed. I think it looks great that your doctor left the inner frenulum because that’s the part that is sensitive. I love the appearance of your penis. I also love that your doctor left the mucosal tissue completely intact, which is very important because the mucosal tissue is an essential part of the immune system.
Thankyou. I just hope the lump goes away on its own instead of having to be cut open again...
Read up a bit on massaging scar tissue to help break it down. There are some scar oil/gel products you can apply several times a day for a few weeks to see if it can help break down that scar tissue.
I’ve also read about laser therapy in dermatology. There are non-invasive lasers being used to remove scar tissue. May be a better option, recovery time wise, to have a one or more laser sessions than a scalpel again.
Thanks. I’m using bio oil. It’s helped the scar tissue around the cut line but not this lump. I wonder if it’s something else, like maybe he did damage as it may have been the first incision he made when removing the frenulum
what happened with your lump? any change?
I had a big frenulum before it was removed but ended up healing like this. Anyway I’m not talking about the actual frenulum I’m talking about the lump in the middle of the frenulum..
Your fren was not removed all the way to the head. The bump is where the doc stopped cutting. The bump will not go down more than what’s there now. Anyway it adds character to your penis.
