Hi guys. Its been 12 days since I get my zsr done but I saw this yellowish part near my frendulum. And a lil bit of blood when I clean it with cotton bud before applying the antibacterial cream. Can anyone hell me with this? Is this infection or has anyone gone through this as well?

What is that white ring ? Yellowish for day 12 is pretty normal . Some heal faster some slower. So long as you do not experience any pain, fever, foul smelling Pus oozing you are quite safe. It might be the lymph fluid and oil from the skin . Remember to keep it dry like real dry before apply antibiotic cream. Do not apply antiseptic cream

Your wound opened up and is now healing in what is known as secondary wound closure. It takes a bit longer to heal because the skin edges have pulled away and the body needs to send lots of cells and material to the site to fill the area in with new tissue. Looks OK. Treat it gently. Keeping the antibacterial cream on it helps to keep dirt and germs outs of the wound site.

Doctor’s say to avoid sexual activity for 4 weeks so that gives many the assumption that you will be “healed” by 4 weeks if it’s OK to have sex at that point.

Your wound incision should be closed up by 4 weeks however, there is a lot more healing to come in the new scar tissue and cells that will be going through different stages of maturation over the next several months. My doctor told me a realistic timeframe for feeling and looking back to normal is 8-16 weeks. It differs for every person. Your frenulum area is going to take longer to heal than everywhere else (this is true for most people)

Swelling is the last thing to go away. The scar tissue needs to regain elasticity before the swelling can subside.

Yes, that certainly includes masturbation unfortunately. When you are able to jerk off, definitely use lots of lube and don’t be rough at all.

I had the Sleeve Resection method. Another name for it is Freehand Method using a scalpel.
