So I’ve recently realised I have a red ring of skin at the top of my cock which is redder than the rest of the skin below, anyone know why?

Hi, you might have some inflammation there do you have any soreness or tightness in the foreskin? If you try some fungal cream from the chemist first and see how that goes.

That red ring as you call it is your inner foreskin. As it is thinner and more sensitive than shaft skin it will easily look reddish with use/abuse.

Do you normaly keep your foreskin retracted?

If so the natural lubricants are evaporating without benefit to the skin.

You may also have gotten a handjob from someone not familiar with a foreskin.
