Really it can’t be a year until you can start wearing clothes without pain surely

It's definitely not a year! Only a few weeks

I hope not it will be a week tomorrow since the surgery so I’m really hoping by next Monday or Tuesday I can put clothes on

Ok so the sensitivity should reduce as time goes on so it should only get better not worse right?

What will a jock strap do to help me?

Kylematt07 profile image

Ok I’ve just ordered one so I should not feel pain wearing that will I

Yeah it’s reslly sensitive so if it touches my underwear or anything like that it hurts pretty bad it don’t really hurt when I go to the toilet or have a bath though that’s what I don’t get

A couple of weeks. Wear snug underwear. It will pass and be great.

Do you think a jockstrap would be fine without pain?

Yes just to stop the knob from rubbing and moving. In time the skin gets used to being permenantly exposed. Just keep it dry and clean. No creams it will be fine. It will be the best thing that you have done.

Ok thanks mate

Any pair of briefs or tight boxers with a gauze should be fine, underwear needs to be on the tight side to hold everything in place, gauze should protect against any rubbing against your underwear

Took me 20 weeks but I have diabetes and it became infected. Good luck and you’ll be fine.

Thanks and it’s is a bit sensitive but hopefully a jock strap will sort that out and the other thing is it still bleeding a little bit mainly on the stitches underneath but I think that is because I keep waking up with an erection during the night and it pulls the stitches

try using an aerosol of local anaesthetic available on ebay/amazon as delay spray

In my opinion it really depends on the person I had my circumcision six months ago and my head is for the most part better but I would probably say that some days are better than others sensitivity wiser so just try to deal with it the best you can the first couple of months are definitely going to suck but it does get better dont fret..

My bf had it done on Tuesday and he's just been shopping with me with clothes on use vaseline on the tip if it's swollen use ice in a towel

Kylematt07 profile image
Kylematt07 in reply to

Yeah but it is very sensitive the tiny little touch and it hurt mainly from clothes the tip is the worse

So your BF can do everything normal

in reply toKylematt07

Most things yes but the vaseline and ice help alot

A cricket box helped me

How is it feeling now? I never had any pain healing - just delighted with the result.

How long after your circumcision did the sensitivity of glans touching clothes reduce/go away?

I had mine done about 12 days ago

Visited the GP a week after surgery and he said it has some infection so now on antibiotics.

I’m just concerned approx when will my glans touching clothes not pain hence wanted to check with you how long it took

Thanks

It took about 2-3,weeks I bought some pads and gauze bandages tho it would of been a lot longer but once I put those on with some tight boxers I didn’t feel no pain putting clothes on at all and a week or 2 after that I was fine without it mate
