Swimming after Circumcision

I’m going on a stag do this Thursday, it’s in Budapest. There are these outdoor pools/baths in the centre of the city, I would’ve been 4 weeks recovered by then. I’ve got 3 days to go and I still have 3 stitches left but it’s all closed up and doesn’t hurt one bit anymore, think the stitches arnt really doing anything anymore as their quite loose. Should I go swimming or not?

Unless there is risk of infection you should be fine.

My advice would be to wear speedo type swim shorts, even if it under 'normal' trunks. This will keep things still and reduce likelihood of knocks.

Ye speedos under your shorts you'll be fine

Why take the risk of cross infection ? Just for a dip in a pool ?

BTW, for info : can you advise what kind of pain and for what duration you experienced after the op ?

Was the op done under general or just sedation ?
