I have been prescribed oestrogen 2 pumps as well as Utrogestan 100 for a trial of 3 months.

I had a small breast cancer 10 years ago so being cautious.

is it better to start with just one pump for a week or so ? or do I go straight in with 2 pumps?

Your experiences with this are invaluable .

thank you

how old are you as your oestrogen needs will vary depending on that. Also did you previously take the contraceptive pill? I was told to start on 3 sprays of the Lenzetto for the oestrogen side but I’m 36 and have osteoporosis but the gel, spray and patches (topical hrt) are all very safe these days from a cancer risk perspective so try not to worry too much and enjoy the benefits of the oestrogen it helped me a lot and the progesterone is good to take at bed time as it helps you sleep. I saw a menopause specialist that broke it all down for me. I had a radical hysterectomy with everything removed april last year which is why I’m on hrt as I have no ovaries.

Hope that helps a little but 2 pumps of the gel is weaker than the sprays so don’t be afraid to start with two and see how you get on as you can go up to 4 of the gel I think. I was originally prescribed that but during the shortage I couldn’t get any anywhere so I started on the spray and get on with it really well.
