Hi there you need to write this all in your journal online and they will amend it,you also need to tell them about your daughter having DS as you will get an enhanced amount too. Make sure you also let them know your rent amount. Good luck

Hi there. Sorry to read about your situation. Hope over time you will find your peace and strength. Are you able to contact Citizens Advice - CAB they will be very helpful and can give advice on many related issues. Also you should be receiving carers allowance element of UC. Keep detailing in the journal. Do you have anyone who can advocate for you. At times like this it is good sometimes to step back as it will be very intense. There are some really helpful and supportive groups on Facebook but depends where you are in the country. My son has Down’s Syndrome and is Autistic too I know how much strain the challenges around caring cause on a relationship. Sending love and strength 🩵

I understand. Things seems complicated and overwhelming at times and for some strange reason time will reveal to you what is unclear and hurtful right now. One step at a time.

Seek out any local support groups you can find. It may seem extreme but the Samaritans are very good and can be a source of support too.

Reach out here or wherever you need to. It is not a sign of weakness but strength and you will find your new tribe. Breathe and do anything you can to protect your boundaries and nurture what you need, in amongst it all.

I am sure it is a mistake with UC and will get sorted.

Sending you love and light

Please inform your landlord that you are now living alone with your daughter and that you require a tenancy in your name only. If/when you receive the new tenancy agreement this should be uploaded to your journal for UC. Also, explain to your landlord, before the rent due date, that you are in communication with UC about your change of circumstances and that there may be a delay in making full payment until your claim is reassessed and monies paid to you appropriately.

Yes I am with council housing and there is only me on the tenancy as he was down as a occupier they said that they have removed him but on my payment it's saying I have a 3 bedroom house and I have to pay bedroom tax on 2 rooms I have always payed bedroom tax on 1 room as the other 2 are still occupied. I don't no what the mix up is and I am now waiting for the case worker to get back to me as I am extremely worried and don't want to be homeless with my daughter. Thankyou for your advice much appreciated.
