Blood tests

Anyone have an idea how long I'm likely to wait for my results, I understand that some tests take time to "culture" or something like that, but I just asked the doctor to add on a ANA test as I've read it's result is a good indicator of Lupus,I've not heard back from him yet with an answer. Fingers crossed he agrees x

mine took around 5 weeks

You shouldnt really have to wait more than a week for results. Most of the tests will be done the same day in fact.

Which reminds me to ring Guy's for mine.

Just had my ANA levels checked and the results were with my doctor when I had an appointment 10 days later. Don't know if other things take longer, but ANA doesn't. Might be worth ringing your doctor or just making an appointment to check.
