Oh Lisa - poor you. I'm afraid that can be a normal-ish reaction, but it should settle down with time. Make sure you let your GP know. If it doesn't settle, you will have to tell your rheumatologist. There are other drugs they can give you.

Good luck - I hope it is better next week.

PS - Have they started you on 7.5mg?

I am feeling much better & still feel out of sorts.Tried 2 inform my gp today but he was busy so gonna see how i go.They have started me on 15mg.At least i know how it will affect me now & will keep a note.Thank u

Lisa - that seems like high starting dose, so I expect that's why you feel a little rough. I don't want to suggest your consultant was unkind. It is more likely that s/he thought your lupus needed to be swiftly brought under control.

Stick with it for a few weeks. I really hope it gets better.

take care,

Hi Lisa, yes it can make you feel like that I have just had my injection increased to 20mgs from 15 and reducing my steroids and yesterday I was shivery all day, I agree with Maggie S that seems to be a very high dose to start you on but as Maggie says maybe you needed it to get your lupus under control, take care (((((((hugs)))))))
