does any one have problems with hypermobility and SLE? im very mobile, and get a lot of pain from my joints been too flexible.
Hi, I too have hypermobility and it does cause problems/pain. My daughter is also hypermobile but does not have lupus (to my knowledge!) Have not been given any advice or ideas on what to do with this issue, so any ideas or info would be great..
warm weather makes me more mobile so a physio said wiat to the cool of the day to exercise. also rhuematologist said avoid all joint surgery if possible as its unlikely to help and will probably be less effective. i use orthotics and big shoes as i have very poor proproperception. but thats about as much as i know.

i to have sle and hypermobility ++ with pain, and no answer, just keep going and moving is the best thing Doc said to keep muscles working around all areas. They are funny when I do bend in weird positions tho and feel I shouldn't but thats the way my body bends I cant help it!! It makes me cuckly everytime I do it!! Tablets, rest and movement is what helps. Take care xx
