I feel so tired at the moment and don't ever seem to be able to catch up on rest/sleep. I feel wherever i am i could just lie down and snooze - but most of the time thats a bit inappropriate !!

I wiish someone could find a cure for the fatigue - they would be a very rich person !!!!

Any tips ??

Just take a break, when I get too tired, I just take 5, if at work I make a cup of tea. If I at home I will have a nap. I learnt not to ignore my body, if you need a rest then please do so. I hope that helps.

Thank you.

I do try and listen to my body but i do find that sometimes its just impossible. I know i must try and give up some of the things i do as i just can't do them anymore.

I have a quieter day today so hopefully i will be able to recharge my batteries :-)

Sorry to hear you are having a bad time. I suffer the same, it's an awful fatigue and you do just have to accept you need plan in your daily routine time to rest. It might be worth checking with the GP that you are not anemic, I suffer with this a lot and that can make you really tired. Diet wise I find white potatoes also make me very lethargic. I also discovered chia seeds a couple of weeks ago and am feeling much more energetic since starting them. I just make up a cup and store in fridge to mix in my daily smoothies. I have a smoothie morning and afternoon with them in and am finding that that afternoon tiredness is much less. x

Hi,

Sorry to hear about your fatigue, I also get very tired, especially when I get fevers. For me this issue is made worse as I also have trouble getting to sleep sometimes, even when I am exhausted although I have found some herbal sleeping tablets which have worked quite well.

In terms of daytime fatigue you might want to consider looking at what food you are eating, this can have a huge impact on fatigue (as well as mood, cravings and anxiety). I am a registered nutritionist (you can see my qualifications andmore about me on my website which is in the process of change but still has some useful information vitalitywithin.com). Keeping blood sugar levels stable may well help with fatigue - I have just written a blog about blood sugar in relation to cravings but it is equally as relevant to fatigue, perhaps it may help you
