Good sun hat

Hi can anyone recommend where to get a good sun hat? My rheumy told me to wear one and cover up my face more even though i wear factor 50 at all times x

Village hats on line. They sell some fantastic sun hats that are uv protective. I have a selection of hats i wear depending on my mood.

Village hats is what I was going to suggest so I'm with Melinda I bought one from there last summer and it does the job

Hello all. Thanks for the info about Village Hats. Just had a look and saw they sell Tilley hats, which is what I was going to recommend. The trouble with these is that they are stupidly expensive.

I'm sorry I'm a bit late on this so may have missed the boat.

I needed some serious sun protection last year for a South American trip. I ended up with a Wallaroo Adventure hat from sun-togs.co.uk/ and an Outdoor Research Helios hat from actionoutdoors.co.uk.

They may be a little bit too much like adventure holiday hats for you but both companies have a range of others. I'm also most certainly not a salesperson but did loads of research last year as I was terrified of a flare-up through going away somewhere hot!

Try on eBay, search for Sunday afternoons adventure sun protection hat. A little expensive but they shade your face and your neck area.
