Welcome to the painful wrists and toes club!! I've had to get used to this pain -the doctors haven't worked out the right medication for me yet so I'm taking anti-inflammatory pain killers from the GP which are helping. Good luck with finding your way to pain management and treatment x

I frequently have sharp pains in my hands, wrists, feet which move around but don't last that long. I complained about this to my consultant and he said 'normal for lupus'. To be honest I'm not sure there are any particular meds that work for this sort of pain, but I guess it's a matter of trial and error. Hope you can find something that works for you xx

I have no flexibillity in my left wrist after an infection. I get sharp pains in my middle toes when i walk. It feels like the nerves. The podiatrist said i have inflammation on the underside of my feet. So maybe it is inflammation that is causing the pain.

Sorry you are having such a bad time with the nerve pain in the hands and feet it does seem to be one of the symptoms of Lupus. I was prescribed plaquenil which I think has made a real difference, It's not immediate but I believe that it does work good luck.
