there are alot of things that can help you but all depends on your symtoms??????? ......i hate pills so i try to stay as healty as possible take alot of vitamins and as much nautral remedies as possible after my last flare i swore to every doctor in the hospital i will never take those steriods again I HATEEEEEE THEM.

i hate paquenil. this put my lupus in full throttle so no plaq for me but most people have said it changed thier life ....the steroid injection has helped but i wont have anather jab as it makes me eat like a horse

Hi, I take Methotrexate and have done so for about two years. Whilst it was great at first (for the bulk of the time) it is increasingly causing problems with my white blood cell count (making it really low which inturn can leave you open to infection). When this happens, I have to come off my Metho and suffer a lot of pain. I am seeing my Dr soon to discuss the worsening pain problem.... depressing. Pain relief is such a problem as what and how much your body will take differs from person to person. Hope this helps.
