I have foamy urine, it shows you have protein in ur urine and it has to do with ur kidneys. i dnt mean to scare u but u shld go c ur consultant or gp he shld send u for a urine dip with some blood tests. I hope this helps.

Regard

i agree with the above,i never noticed the foam in my urine until they found blood and protein in my urine via a dip stick test, its only then i started checking and it was foamy, but not to worry unduly as sometimes my urine appears foamy the odd occassion now and its from the reaction with loo cleaners i use,but def go to docs, with a sample of urine and they can test it there and then for you and get you the correct treatment/further tests if needed, keep us posted, good luck xx

Hi

Foam in the urine means that your kidneys are leaking protein. Even if it's a single time occurrence, you should report it to your doctors. Do you also get swollen feet or wake up with a puffy face?

Hi sramkin, yes i get swollen feet and a swollen. Face

This points to kideny involvement, you are (most likely) spilling protein which causes water retention. Have you been to the doctor yet? Are you currently on any medication?

D*mn my arthritic fingers. That was “kidney” :)

Signed in to answer this before I saw that others have already answered it. They are right. Don't hang about. It could be just a urine infection, or it could be something worse. Go to your Doctor.
