bad chest

Well i have have a bad chest now for over a month the doctors have given me 3 lots of antibiotics which di nothing so went back yesterday because my chest was still really painful now hes given me a weeks worth of steroids.Im being to think they dont know want they are doing.

Hi there my daughter is just getting over pneumonia,she has been on 20 steroids a day for 2 weeks with lots of antibiotics,she is now down to 12 steroids a day.

She said although she felt crappy on the steroids they have loosened all her phlem and now it is drying up slowly.

Hopefully when the steroids start working for you,you will start to feel much better.

The only thing with steroids is that they have rubbish se's,my daughter gets bad headaches,cramp in her legs,mood swing,unable to sleep at might,etc,but her chest is soooooooooo much better with the steroids.

Thats for getting back to me,i just feel like they dont listen to me they havnt said i have pneumonia cos i had a chest xray 1 month ago to things seem to be getting worse if im no better by fri im going back again they will soon be sick of seeing me.Many thanks Laney x

Ah bless ya,that is the best thing to do,if you know you are not feeling better keep going back.

My daughter is always at the doctors,she hates having to go all the time,as she works full time has twin 3 year olds and every time she has a day off it seems she is always pestering the doctors,she isn't but that's how she feels.

She had a chest xray 2 days before she was dxd with pneumonia,and all that could be seen was a mild chest infection,2 days later when she was struggling to breath,she went to hospital and had another chest xray, in 2 days it had drastically changed on the xray and she had pneumonia.

I don't want to frighten you,I just wanted to let you know,as things can change quickly,so if you don't feel better soon,do feel a nuisance,go back to your doctors.

Thats for that im going to go back friday if i feel no better my chest just feels so tight and its going around to my shoulders xx
