The location of the pain and the severity of the pain and any other symptoms denotes area to be investigated. Best to define your symptoms with as much detail as is possible. Vague sensations are very difficult to determine course of action. The more specific you can be the better. Then your GP can refer you to the correct Specialist.

1. Pin point the area. (lower abdomen, upper abdomen, chest, right side, left side, ...)

2. Define the severity of pain. (sharp, stabbing, dull, ache, burning, ...)

3. Define duration of pain. (chronic / intermittent / infrequent yet consistent when it reoccurs / ...)

4. Determine if there is a trigger. (with food, without food, with specific food, upon waking, lying down, sitting, when defecating, when urinating, ...)

5. List any other symptoms. (nausea, fever, chills, ...)

"girdle like pain" - a gripping confining pain where? when does it occur? what is the severity of the pain? how frequently does it occur? does it limit your mobility / function? are you breathless? are you lightheaded dizzy?

More details required.

Please take care of yourself.
