This unfortunately is an inflammation of the whiter part of the eys, is usually associated with other things ie Rhumatoid and connective tissue. It is painful and uncomfortable as the white bit of the eye can be inflammed, red and itchy. I have Lupus and have had mild version of this when my body experiences stress related incidences. When under stress it causes blurring and itchy, dry eyes. I use over the counter eye drops to illeviate the soreness but prescription cream did not really help me, but my body reacts badly to medication.

Thanks for your comment.

I really had a stressful altercation on tuesday so maybe that started it off. I have seen eye consultant yesterday and was given Dexamethasone drops. It has slightly eased and will be checked on wednesday.

Hope you have a good easter

Scleritis is the inflammation of the white part of the eye. It feels like you have been punched in the eye. Also if left it can cause glaucoma and the eye ball can pop!

Feeling better today so drops are working x

I have dry eye and some days my eye sight is worse than others, and driving at night with all the lights I sometimes can't do, the lights are like very bright stars

I am due for a sight test I will tell them about night driving. Take care x
