Hi, I'm Julie,I had skin biopsies in September last year and was diagnosed with discoid/skin lupus. Like you, it's all new to me. I did pluck up the courage to go to a lupus UK meeting at a local park venue. There weren't many there, but that was good for me bcus we were able to just chat and I had so many questions to ask. As you know, there are many different types of lupus and it affects people in different ways. I must admit I felt like I was on this lupus journey by myself, but after attending the group and joining the online group, I don't feel on my own anymore. It's all still a learning curve and a bit hit and miss with flare ups on my face but by doing a bit of research and talking to people coping with lupus, it is making me feel more in control. I wish you well with your ongoing tests 🙏
