If an estimated 80% of lupus sufferers are women what about the 20% of men that suffer lupus?

Have they inherited a “bad”/faulty/defective X chromosome from their mothers?🧐

Women have 2 X chromosomes in their body cells but men only have one. So in women even WITH a defective X not suffering lupus does the healthy/non-defective X take over cellular functions!🧐

What’s the connection? There must 100,000s of male lupus sufferers worldwide. Many are on this forum!?
