lupus rash
I have had similar lupus rash on my upper torso, face and neck that looked like weeping burns. Prescribed by my Dermatologist, I took 30mg of Prednisolone for a few months, gradually tapering off to 10mg, and within 6 months it was healed. I still have faint marks and purple discolouration under skin and every so often small areas erupt again but, generally, the continuous lower dose of steroid controls it.
I once had a wound after surgery that was not healing so nurses treated it with medical grade honey but have not had honey bandages. Hope this helps.
Hi lesadiana I am sorry to hear that you are having this type of problems. I had something similar about 18 months ago (only had my lupus diagnosis 2.5 years) They stated with dry flaky spots which very quickly escalated to look like cigarette burns small shallow patches with a crusty edge. My rheumy diagnosed cutaneous lupus and i was started on azathioprine and given a strong steroid cream to use topically until they settled. This took about 1/12 to subside properly. They havent thankfully returned but they were very distressing and sore when they were there. They covered my trunk and arms.
I dont know if this is the same thing but i wish you well and hope it clears up soon 🤗
