hi, a little while ago i posted on the difficulty obtaining Zentivia Hydroxychloriquine.
I contacted Zentivia and had a very prompt and helpful reply which I have copied below.

My Boos pharmacy manages to get it for me (with a fight with their suppliers at times) but if they hit a brick wall again at any time I’ll pass this on to them. Very helpful. Many thanks frog. Xx
My Boots told me the same>. I wrote the pharmacist a letter spelling out the reasons why I needed Zentiva and that refusing to get it for me was costing the NHS more money because I needed a PPI, Gaviscon and had 2 endoscopies to investigate my GI problems. Nothing was found except inflammation in my stomach which was caused by the cheaper Bristol brand. The Boots pharmacist then told me she’d contacted her bosses and was given permission to order 10 boxes which she put aside for me. When they ran out another pharmacist in Boots tried to substitute Zentiva for another brand. I stood my ground and refused the other brand as my GP specifies on the prescritpion, since I wrote him a letter too, that it must be “Zentiva only”. They managed to get some so I do consider myself lucky at the moment and hope they continue to get some for me. Their normal supplier is the problem. They for some reason (probably price) refuse to stock Zentiva but our local Pharmacist got around that somehow. Long may it last.🙏🏻 Good luck with your hunt for somebody who will bypass their usual supplier and get it for you.
I too have been in contact with Zentiva, but the pharmacies ceo's are not permitting them to contact Zentiva, on strict orders! My GP's and staff and surgery pharmacist have been battling finding some for me for the last week and the answer today was they cannot get me any anywhere in my region! . I have a telephone consult with my rheumy on Monday, so will see what she comes up with, basically we have to go without! as you can tell not a happy bunny, but nobody has a clue where to go next x
