Thanks for the update Debbie, confirming what my surgery had told me. I tried the Zentiva brand but had a bad reaction: vomiting and diarrhoea and so, after a phone call to my rheumatologist helpline, I have been prescribed the Blackrock brand 300mg until the problem is solved. I feel for folks in Northern Ireland who are in the same position as me with regards sensitivity to brands other than Blackrock, we need Hydroxychloroquine that we can take without these issues.
Sorry to hear you had a bad reaction to the Zentiva, but glad a 300mg Blackrock prescription is working for you until the 200mg comes back into stock. Different availability of medicines in different areas is absolutely a challenge for patients. Take care, Debbie
