I had the flu jab in October and ever since i've had a streaming cold and now a chest infection.The cold goes for a couple of days and then comes back with a vengeance. Has anyone had a reaction to the flu jab? Thanks and wishing everyone a very Happy Christmas x
This wont be a reaction to the flu jab at all! There`s nothing live in the jab to give you the flu. This year has been the worst year so far in all types of people healthy or not for flu, colds infections etc. as this year we have really mixed after covid. So our bodies aren`t used to it. I hope you feel better soon xx
You may be one of those rare people that has had an adverse/allergic reaction to a component within the flu vaccine? 🧐
Difficult to say unless one looks carefully at the vaccine brand/ingredients check list?! They are all slightly different. Are you in the U.K. or USA?
One has to do a full, detailed and specialised allergy test! Difficult.
BTW some/many lupus sufferers say they don’t get flu, coughs or colds.
Does this mean some have developed super antibodies against flu? Some profs have said this.
So why the need to be constantly jabbed and re-jabbed/boosted?
There’s still a lot to learn about our immune system(s).
Another hypothesis is that your immune system has overreacted to the antigen in the vaccine?👆🧐
