pain, cold weather and chicken

Many of us find cold weather increases joint pain especially when outside in the winter months. My 35 year old son who is healthy but permanently broke visits a local supermarket before his 50 minute walk home to his cold flat after work each day. Yesterday they were selling off the hot roasted chickens at a knock down price so he splurged his last few pounds on one as a treat. Safely packed and wrapped he popped the hot bird in his rucksack and was lovely and warm all the way home with his dinner ready to eat and today he’s making chicken soup 😃

thing is- I’m veggie so no hot chicken in the rucksack for me but I think a few baked potatoes or large cauliflower will do the job 🤣

Spuds do hold their temp pretty well! No doubt Greggs still do their veggie offerings hot? And Indian takeaways????
