Need help to understand the process

Hi everyone, I'm new to UK and NewCastle. I'm having SLE and it is damaging my kidneys. I'm on medication for 2 years now. I just provided registration documents for a GP surgery. I was previously looked after by Rheumatologist and Nephrologist - two specialist doctors... I would like to understand the next steps to get medication here. I have medicines for 2 weeks more only. I would really appreciate if I could have a chat with someone in NewCastle 🙂

Hi there welcome to the group and to the UK

If I were you I would either phone or go to the doctors where you have registered and explain that you urgently need to have a prescription of your medication before it runs out and then ask for them to refer you to a Rheumatologist and Nephrologist - you will probably have to wait a while but the most urgent thing is to get your medication sorted.
