The vein on my arm is a bit swollen after IV, it's been 4 weeks now, it stopped hurting a 3 weeks ago but it's still a bit hard, will it go away on its own or do i need to apply a hot towel to it everyday?

Hiya as it's been like that so many weeks it might be worth getting a GP or nurse just to check it over, seems strange to me to still be a problem
