Private consultant

I wonder if anyone could recommend a private ‘lupus specialist’ in Manchester. Happy to travel to other areas within reasonable distance. Many thanks.

I’m not sure if they see private patients too but I see Dr Kamath at Salford Royal and also Professor Bruce at Manchester Royal Infirmary both via the NHS. Might be worth googling to see if any of them have private clinics.

Another option is to ask your GP to refer you specifically to one of them by name which is what I did although I know that won’t be as quick as private.

Prof Bruce is not private unfortunately or he'd never have anytime to work in NHS as he is amazing!
