just googled NAD+ and it says it is a nicotinamide. I had a gastro consultant once who suggested taking up smoking as the nicotine was supposed to help with Ulcerative colitis. wonder if there is a connection.

You dont need to smoke to get nicotine. There are nicotine gums you could buy at a pharmacy over the counter

I know but I wonder what is in nicotine that could help with colitis and maybe autoimmune.

This is great info, and the first I have read about NAD+. I will look for updates (the articles are from 2009, 2014, and 2016. Hopefully they have more research, thank you!
