Hi all anybody know what is meant by something written on a clinical letter I have

States all my ills and then goes through history etc

On some bloods it reads after persistently positive + ve

What’s the ve mean ?? Tried google and VE Day comes up 🙄

Just interested will ask them next time I see them but just impatient and nosey

+ve is a abbreviation for positive

Also you might see -ve meaning negative. Blooming abbreviations!!
