Thank you for this. TLDR version: Have your vaccines but after that you're on your own. 😊

I was thinking it could be summarised as "you will never have a normal life again".

Just received a box of 7 LFTs as a designated CEV which I will be using regularly. Don’t want covid ever.

Thanks Paul.

I received an email from the NHS re this BUT it's a little ambiguous. I've had three primary jabs and a booster on the 11th Jan. Are they suggesting that we will receive a fifth jab (second booster) six months after the first booster (fourth jab)? I've seen no mention of a fifth jab only second booster but this seems to be suggested that is relevant to those who've had three jabs the third being the booster.

Terminology changes every time this is discussed, talk about befuddled! Hope you understood all of that!

Hi CSLO ,

The information about the "spring booster" has unfortunately been very ambiguous. We think that they failed to consider the significant delay many immunosuppressed people experienced in getting their third primary dose and booster (fourth) dose.

This is an additional booster. If you've had three primary jabs and a booster (i.e., four doses in total), this will be a fifth dose. The 'spring' booster should ideally be administered at six months after the previous dose, so you should be due in July.

Thanks Paul, that's what I had surmised!

My goodness I've had to manage each and every jab every step of the way. I even forwarded to my GP the template of the directional letter he was supposed to have sent to me.

Thanks so much for your attention.
