Dear all,
I thought I share our experience of Covid19 and update you on how we managed it. Please note, the cases are increasing and people with long term conditions can never be too careful.
I tested positive about three weeks ago after a slight pain on my upper back (right lung) and felt extremely tired (did not think much of it as we feel tired all the time anyway). I also had a slight cough. A day later, I tested positive after a routine test. I did isolate for ten days +. I had temperature of 37.5 slight joint pain on the first day or so.
We lost the smell and taste on day 3/4. Day 5, I had upset tummy and felt sick for few days and the final day(Day 8) was the 'great' headache which did not go away for hours.
I took aspirin everyday to manage blood issues. I still take aspirin just incase.
Because we are double vaccinated, I believe it saved our lives. Anyone who is debating or hesitant to take the vaccine, I can confirm it saves lives. I think we were fortunate but having few capsules of day/night nurse helped us greatly.
With best, L
