Hi guys I just wanted to say how amazing this forum is for seeing how everyone else is feeling and what there going threw I feel heartly sorry for the people who haven’t been diagnosed yet, have faith I’ve been having my own problems, breathless constantly yawning and my joints flared so bad I couldn’t walk they gave me a steroid injection today to ease my joints and took me off methotrexate tablets and now trying to injections they didn’t check my lungs tho just took a load of bloods 🙄sometimes I just feel like they just give you what they think will work and send you on your way, constant head ache neck snd jaw pain it’s such a lonely disease as we can tell as many people as we like how we feel but because we aren’t cut or have broken bones people just say well you look fine, well actually I feel like I’m on deaths door 95 percent of the time thanks! But we have to stay strong and be postive I’ve found strength I never thought I had so I’m thank full for that!

So agree with you. I have been told twice this week how wonderful I look, the last time this morning at the Doctor's. I was there because I can hardly breathe. Yes, like you, I look good, much younger than I am and I actually feel like I'm on my last legs and really ghastly. This forum does help us to know that we are not alone, not that I would wish COPD on anyone. Onwards and upwards guys, only way to go, try to keep walking a bit, even if you have to keep stopping.

Hi , there are a few things associated with lupus which will have an impact on your breathing. I suggest you should refer to your GP urgently and seek a CT scan of your lungs.

I had spoken to my rheumatologist and he suggested a steroid no investigations? Do you think I should go back? They just never know what to do with us! It has got better after the steroid whichMakes me think it’s inflammation but I haven’t got a clue if it’s scarred my lungs or anything!

My wife has struggled with breathlessness for three years. On Wednesday last week we discovered that the respiratory consultant had missed something really important from a CT scan from 2018.

Doctors even great ones make mistakes. If you think you have a problem persist. What is the precise cause of my breathlessness I suggest you need to have an answer to this.
