Endoscopy update

Hi everyone!

As promised here's the update on my endoscopy yesterday

So they couldn't cannulate me after 4 attempts and eventually had to take the throat spray!

That test is not nice..I was constantly gagging and my jaw was killing me..

The diagnosis is gastritis and upper stomach polyps and they have taken biopsy.

I am sore..this morning soft bread was difficult to swallow..I can just manage liquidy food..and I also have an increased epigastric pain. Otherwise I am ok.

Hi Lufibabe, not a nice procedure, but hey, you have came through it and hopefully this will see you receive the medication to help you through the findings.

I have gone through this procedure and can sympathise with how you are feeling now, it will pass soon.

Sorry you went through such discomfort, I hope you have recovered. I was the other side of the coin , i had endoscopy with the spray and really didn’t feel it . Good luck with results xx

I had to go through this with just the spray so I know what you are saying. I have Gastritis as well and it's really horrible when it plays up.Take care. ♥️

Well done you for getting through it. I have had three and only one hurt like hell and made me tender and struggling to swallow. I swear that Do tor used to work for Dyno Rod lol. You are over it now so rest, eat ice cream ( any excuse but it really does help sooth the throat ). Let us know when you get your results xx
