Hip Locks Up and Pain

This has been going on for a while. If I get down on the floor or bend down a certain way, I can't straighten up right away. It is like the hip locks up at the waist and the pain is horrible. If I hobble over in a bent position to a chair and rest a bit, then it gets better. I am trying to remember to not get myself in such positions, but that is almost impossible to be functioning. Any thoughts on this? I have a doctor's appointment with my GP tomorrow and don't know whether to mention this or not.

Thanks.

Healing hugs.

Hi Pumpkin2009,I get this too, but in my knees! There is nothing in particular that really triggers it. Cooking dinner, sitting on the sofa - knee feels like it's locked.

It's painful but not particularly long lasting for me.

I think if it's affecting your mobility that much it would be worth discussing with your GP!

Are you under a specialist too? To perhaps mention it to them to be seen alongside the rest of your clinical history?

It's horrible how our bodies treat us sometimes isn't it, healing hugs in return
