Delayed reaction ?

Hi all. Hope you as well as can be expected! Has anyone had a delayed reaction to the AZ jab? As in 6 weeks? I was fine then gradually felt a flare coming on. Not had a bad one for a few years . On Azathioprine and steroid low dose. My Lupus thing is lungs and pericarditis not painful joints etc. Saw GP had ECG and bloods , waiting for chest xray .

Breathless, palpitations, headaches, neck aches etc etc. No energy .

Have increased my steroid and think its helping. Just worried about having 2nd jab ?

I had a flare that started after 36 hours and ended up on high dose steroids but when I tapered at six weeks it came back and the symptoms were worse and similar to as you described. I was sent to A&E and told not to have second jab based on ECG results so I would talk to rheumatology.

Hi there, I had what appeared to be a Lupus flare 5 days after I had the Astra Zenica jab. I also hadn't had a flare for around 3 years prior to this. Wasn't at all well for a couple of weeks, but improving now. I wasn't looking forward to when I get the second jab either, but as my sister pointed out, maybe my body will recognise the vaccine next time!
