Hi everyone

Hope you're all doing ok and keeping your spirits up somehow. Just wondering if anyone else has had this and what it means from a lay person perspective. Also does anyone experience a cramp like painful feeling in their bones i call it" bone pain" every now and then i get it always in the shoulders and arms and it only goes away with a strong painkiller. It has brought me to tears a few times. I would love to know if others get this type of thing and how they deal with it.

Thanks very much 😀

Yes absolutely. I had it last week. Sometimes it's just a really bad ache in my long bones. Other times it's like having white hot pokers rammed I to my bones or being poked from inside my bones. Its horrible. X

Ro antibodies can cause heart problems for the baby during pregnancy.

It is also associated with Sjögren's syndrome.

It’s a yes from me regarding bone pain. My bone pain was caused by my vitD being very very low. Have you guys had your bloods checked recently?

As explained to me by doctor when I was first diagnosed, a positive Ro is associated with photosensitivity as well as an increased risk of congenital heart problems for the baby while pregnant. I was Ro+ during both my pregnancies and was followed up regularly. Otherwise, I just make sure to stay out of the sun and wear sunscreen all year around.
