Covid vaccine

Hi everyone

Just wanted to say that I've had my covid vaccine on Sunday. Slightly sore arm for a couple of days and my secondary Sjogren's was triggered a couple of hours afterwards. In particular, extremely dry mouth and subsequently, drinking water as though it was on the verge of becoming extinct plus fatigue. All in all, no Lupus symptoms were triggered, the Sjogren's lasted for a couple of days and then disappeared into the sunset.

NB: remember, we're all different and you may not even experience the above but just wanted to feedback.

Hope this helps. :)

Interesting. I had the first dose of moderna. A few hours later my Raynauds in my big toe kicked in. I had some minor chills, I felt a little spacey, went to bed early, and my arm was sore at the vaccination site for 2 days. Other than that, I was back to normal within 48 hours.

Very interesting indeed. Unfortunately, my brain didn't retain the name of the vaccine I was administered. I just find out whether it was the same one. However, from what I've read via this forum, it seems as though the vaccine may or even may not trigger symptoms but not in a drastic way, if that makes sense.

Thank you. Apparently, the name of the vaccine should be on the card they give you after they have administered it. I've checked mine and all they've written is the batch no.! Nevermind, I'll have to track down my GP and ask for the name of the vaccine instead and write it on the card because I'm sure, in the near future, I will be asked and a batch number may not suffice.
