Hi,I’m oni. Immunosuppressants and steroids. For lupus and RA.I’m on rugs for lung disease.

I sent a message to me rheumatologist, asking if I should have the vaccine.the nurse got back to me and said that the advice is that I should definitely have the vaccines.

Perhaps you could get a message to your consultant Asking advice.

Hi, I have lupus and take hydroxy and Etoximab. I had the Pfiezer vaccine yesterday. It means I can't have my infusions this year as the vaccine stops the infusion from sticking. I have a sore arm at injection site and am slightly off balance.

There have been very few bad reactions to the covid vaccinations and I think the dangers of covid far outweigh any vaccination risk and we are strongly advised to get the jab.

I had the Astra Zeneca one yesterday and no problems at all (and I was flaring quite badly) x

Hi, I'm on hydroxy and my lupus has been alot worse over the last year. I had Pfizer vaccine on 8th Jan, felt exhausted and headache for 4 days but ok after that. I was very apprehensive about having vaccine as had dreadful flare after flu jab, but my thinking was a flare up is better than getting Covid as really don't know how immune system would be with that. Take care x

Hi, my Rheumatologist sent me a text with a link to a video that was done for their patients telling us to have the vaccine and named the various drugs that we might be taking. He even had the vaccine himself to show he has had the vaccine.

Hi. I am on Mycophenolate, hydroxychloroquine and prednisolone. I had vaccination (Pfizer) on 23rd January. Was really tired the next day and pins and needles in my hand but apart from that absolutely no side effects, not even a sore arm where the jab went in! I understand your concern but better the jab than Covid or having to shield for ever!!

Stay safe. 😀
