I had an aggressive rash which was treated with hydrocortisone1% cream and it seemed to help. I still have a mild rash on both checks and my forehead, the cream doesn't have any effect now, Has anyone found certain things work?

I haven't found anything that clears it up and for me the steroid cream made it feel much worse. I am sure you are aware that everyone is different so I can only tell you what has helped for me. In the morning I wash using goats milk soap and then apply olive oil cream, this at least lets me apply make up if I need to. Evenings, I use Sanex soap and then use extra virgin olive oil and pat the excess off. Weekly I clean my face and then apply olive oil and put on a hot flannel for about 5 minutes. Not many people go off for their evening wash with a bottle of cooking oil in their hand lol. My skin feels better and the redness is not so pronounced. Good luck

Hi. I totally agree with SecondLife that goats milk soap (or Donkey milk) is wonderful stuff. This is the only facial cleanser I use (nb I don't use face make-up though) plus Aloe Vera products as a moisturiser. I think keeping it as simple as possible is the answer, but everybody has different needs of course.

Good luck!
