Hello,

I have Lupus sle type, I am wondering if its ok to continue taking hydroxychloroquine while breadtfeeding?

Can anyone who has had this experience confirm

Hi H134,

It is usually safe to breastfeed if the number of hydroxychloroquine tablets you take remain the same as they were whilst you were pregnant. Does your doctor know you are breastfeeding? Hi Chanpreet yes doctor does know, just wanted to doubke check if its all ok, as didn't want it affecting the baby. Im on 200mg a day currently i reduced my dose myself as didnt want to take high disage whilst pregnant.
