Bird on feeder

I managed to get a picture of this bird on the nuts this morning who was upside down - am interested to know if anyone knows what type of bird this was - he was feeding for a good 5 minutes 😊

looks like a woodpecker, usually have red on the head or rump depending on age and sex

Thanks for reply don’t think it’s woodpecker as we get them quite often in the garden x

A nuthatch maybe? They feed upside down. I l love watching them as they fly off from that position. Lovely birds 😍

Thankyou yes it was definitely a Nuthatch - we’ve never seen one before - it was a beautiful bird x
