Phew! I don't know about you all but I am absolutely struggling with this heat 🔥 I am asthmatic and struggling to breathe at times. I've had my pump increased and I'm starting to feel the benefit 😃 Sitting in my wheelchair ♿ is unbearable, its making me hot and sweaty. I don't know how people who live with these sort of temperatures daily as norm cope. Apart from suffering from the heat I'm feeling OK now I'm completely recovered from my latest flare. I had a phone call MRI dept trying to book me an appointment, (which has been put on hold due to Covid) I had to tell her no, as I would need hospital transport I wasn't prepared to be in such close proximity to others, explained I had Lupus. She apologised but wouldn't be able to keep my name on the list and would write to my rheumy. I know I have osteoarthritis in my neck but rheumy wants to know how bad. It won't help me none 🙄

Any tips on helping dry skin greatly welcomed, the eczema is really bad at mo.

Oh well new cooker arriving tomorrow 😀 the hubby dropped pizza into the part where the flames come up on our current cooker, hence it will not flame as usual. Tried no end to clean it but there's no way of getting into the compartment 🙄 we've only had it 2 years as well. Oh well no use crying over spilt milk or pizza. Banning the hubby from cooking pizza from now on lol.

That's me for now, need to be up in morning. I hope you're all as well as can be. Take care, stay safe. Goodnightnight all 💐

I’ve found a new cream that is helping me at the moment but it is expensive. It’s called renewal calming cream by a company called Epionce (epionce.co.uk) and says it’s a skin protectant. You can use it on all areas including face and I use it on my face as I get some awful problems of eczema type rash as well as lupus type rash and maybe even roseacea. It really takes the itch away. Another product of their I use is the medical barrier cream. It was recommended in a magazine some years ago by an editor who actually suffered from roseacea and she said it was very good for her. I sometimes use it on my face but recently found it was great on my hands as a hand cream while I was washing my hands so often. They were getting so sore with my normal hand cream. I’ve started using it on the very rough dry scaly bits on the bottom of my legs too.

It’s such a problem finding something that works for us. I’m sorry the heat is causing you extra difficulties, it affects me badly too both physically and mentally. My brain turns to complete mush. Sorry about your cooker too! Xx
