Hi Everyone

Just a quick question - just wondered how long after a brain MRI , do people tend to get their results?

Thanks

Just a quick update :

Both my Rheumatologist and Opthalmologist have looked at my brain MRI scan results and said everything appears fine which is brilliant news . My neurological symptoms must be coming from my significant cervical spondylosis and spinal stenosis .

Thanks for All of your responses.

Do you have random onset of dizziness as well? I've been getting that for last 2 years leading to loss of balance but my MRI is normal as well and the doctor still can't figure out why....

Hi!

I do get occasional dizziness as well but not to the extent that I lose my balance. That must be worrying for you . X

Could be cranial neuropathy of your vestibular nerve which can cause dizziness and balance issues. Like having vertigo without the spins.

About a week for a finalized report to be released. NeuroRadiologist attending has to sign off on it and there aren’t tons of experienced neuroradiologists on staff so it might take a bit longer than your avg CT scan or chest X-ray which comes back in 24-48 hrs.
