For a long time, I have been meaning to order the Lupus Book book from Lupus UK. With the lupus lanyard coming out the other day (July 1st), I thought I'd order the book at whilst I was there already ordering the lanyard. It took me to an external site, I applied the discount code give on Lupus UK site. Fillled in all details as normal, then it came up 'unable to process transaction at this time'. Thought it was odd and just an issue with the site.
However, I have checked my bank account and the money has gone. I have had no order confirmation email and the site said payment unsucussful, but they have still taken my money.
Any advice please? Has anyone else had issues? I would now like a refund as I don't trust the site (the external site, not Lupus UK) and I will just leave the book and go without. I'll find another way to get it. Who should I contact for a refund Lupus UK or the external site?

Hi Kevin, thank you, will send an email now, just didn't want to email Lupus UK, when it should the external site. The bottom one on the 'books' section of Lupus UK shop. Not the Encylopaedia, but the one that is £22.99, called The Lupus Book by Daniel J Wallace. Good to hear from you Kevin, hope you are ok
Thanks Ceri. The Oxford University Press are fine. Did they apply the discount to the amount deducted? There is a fair chance there was just a glitch and the order is processing. Best wishes Kevin
Yes, the discount code went on just fine, no problems there. I just assumed an error with their site. Sent the email to head office. Thank you for your help
LUPUS UK doesn't stock this particular book but we negotiated a discount code for people who are referred by us. The seller is perfectly trustworthy, but if you are concerned about a technical problem causing your order to not be processed, it is worth sending them a quick email to check.
Hi Paul, I sitill haven't received it. I didn't expect to as I didn't get consfirmation email. I am very disappointed with that sire. They have taken my money - despire the above. I am out of money and no book. Disappointing. What can I do?
According to their website, it usually takes around 5 working days for someone to receive an order, so you may need to give them a little bit more time. It is also worth considering that it may take slightly longer than usual if they have fewer staff working due to social distancing etc.
