Hair loss

I was wondering whether anyone knows any good hair products to help prevent hair loss? I have noticed my hair is falling out more than ever and seems to be getting thinner.

Hi panda, during lockdown I have tried to avoid any products, drying, straightening and washing my hair less as I have not been anywhere.

I suffer with hair loss and have very small bold patches that never seem to grow back or do very slowly.

I do however find Alpecin caffeine Shampoo C1 Has worked well on my hair helping it to grow and feel more fuller along With a good conditioner.

This may not suit everyone i am just going off my own experience.

Hope this helps xx

Hi Panda. I lost almost all of my hair when I was 30 which was 6 years ago now. My Derm Doc suggested upping my Hydroxychloroquine and also to try Regaine. Both seemed to work and it gradually came back. More recently, last year it started again. I got Regaine but this time I felt a burning on my scalp so didn't use it again. My friend sells products for Bodyshop and she had been told by a customer that Ginger Shampoo works. I have been using it on and off but have just found out after having another biopsy that I have scar tissue damage due to the SLE so i am now using a steroid on my scalp in the tender areas which is where I tend to get the baldness to see if that helps the hair loss and pain. Less hair washing that was also mentioned and I need to make sure I wear a hat!! Hope this helps and you find something that works for you.
