Hi all,

My bloods came back as normal for rheumatoid and the doc is referring me to check for lupus as I didn’t haven’t the ANA one.

Can I just ask does anyone’s malar rash come and go in a flare as I only have one every now and then after a hot shower or bath?

That facial rash can be caused by other things... alcohol can do it, as can rosacea. Heat can cause your face to flush in that pattern too. So if you just get it from a bath or getting hot, it may not be a sign of any kind of problem at all, just blood vessels dilating from the heat in an attempt to shed heat.

Try taking a cooler bath if it bothers you.

Hi Aimee,

I know it’s just with my others symptoms my doc has referred me, I get achy joints I feel like I’m 90 my hands are the worst. Headaches mostly from the sun and chest pain. I don’t really drink alcohol either.

I hope they can find out what it is
